Puritan or prostitute? The press campaign that invites us not to judge the value of a woman by her clothes

Often, indeed always, a woman is judged by how she dresses. If the dress is too low-cut, they'll say it's a cheeky one, to put it mildly. If the skirt is too long, or the top is too high-necked, then "jokingly" it will be said that it is frigid, or boring, or that it has nothing nice to show off.

It is not easy to get rid of stereotypes about women, their value and above all the judgment on their alleged morality, and today, to demonstrate our perennial injustice, hard to eliminate, a very effective press campaign arrives, created by the International Federation of Terre des Hommes. . The intent of the campaign, from the title Don't establish a woman's worth by her clothes, is to point out how the judgment on women, deriving from their way of dressing, leaves no way out: either you are brazen and prostitute, or frigid santarellina. There is no middle ground, and above all, there is no real basis.

The yardstick is always the same, and it adapts to various heights of heels or depths of necklines. The higher the heels, the more cheeky you are, the deeper your necklines, the more you are considered prostitutes.
