Strawberry Cheese Cake
It is a cold cake made with fresh cheese (like Philadelphia, although ricotta is also used in Italy), eggs and sugar on a base of biscuits and butter or sponge cake.
The most classic version is the NY Cheesecake (created by Arnold Reuben in 1929), one of the first that uses cream cheese and not cottage cheese and adds lemon to the mixture which gives it freshness and aroma.
