Face color reveals your mood, did you know?
The expression "gloomy in the face" gives a good idea that the mood is connected to a color of the face, and besides who has never happened to get embarrassed and blush? So it is quite evident that the mood affects the complexion, but how much? At least as much as on hair color:
How face colors work
So the color of the face is not given only by how much you take care of it, but there are variations in the color that accompany every emotion we experience: they are signals produced involuntarily by the brain, which modify our color, with which it is possible to recognize the our emotional states. It is argued that these staining patterns may be related to slight changes in blood flow or blood composition driven by the central nervous system, so let's start with the brain.

The study of colors
The mood, so, has an exact shade for each of us. To reach these conclusions, Ohio State University researchers, who were able to interpret the signals and program a computer to identify and reproduce human emotions based solely on the color of the face, observed hundreds of photographs representing faces of people experiencing different emotional states. They grouped the photographs and divided them by face colors. Using a computer, they then identified characteristic colors of different emotions.

The results
Through an algorithm that reads feelings, the researchers found that the photos that express joy are 70% of the cases, those that express sadness 75%, and anger 65%. At that point, after programming a computer, a number of larger photos were analyzed. The experiment revealed that happiness is found in 90% of cases, anger in 85%, sadness in 75%, and fear in 70%.
