Fuorisalone 2013: all the events
Alongside the fair itself - Tortona Design Week, it is increasingly an urban laboratory dedicated to the representation, development and remodeling of what we could simply define contemporaneity. 137 events, 214 exhibitors, 31,300 square meters occupied, 39 countries represented, 101 brands and 140 designers present for the first time.
The Design District will instead be set up in the Brera area, and will involve more than 70 open showrooms and 90 events organized for the occasion, with paths through new forms of crafts, historic shops and quality restaurants.
The fourth edition of
Porta Romanas will instead be animated by an exciting mix of contemporary culture, which will cross music, design, hospitality and good food. At Cascina Cuccagna, for example, the second edition of gooddesign will be held, an international selection of beautiful and responsible design.

Another VENICE DOOR IN DESIGN | Liberty, which will see individual exhibition projects on display, with the participation of major companies in the design sector and art galleries. New this year, a path dedicated to good food, made possible thanks to the collaboration of the Slow Food® Milano Condotta and the Feeding Milan project.
An ideal city will be set up in the Mecenate area, within the Mad area - Mecenate Area Design - which will redefine a place of about 6000 square meters, giving a new perspective to the area and creating Routes for VIP - Very Important Pedestrian.
Inside the Fabbrica del Vapore, in via Procaccini, Milano Makers will be the protagonist, presenting the Bla Bla exhibition curated by Alessandro Mendini, in co-production with the Department of Culture, Fashion and Design of the Municipality of Milan and with the patronage of the Cologni Foundation dei Mestieri d "Arte. Composed of 2 sections, the exhibition aims to promote and enhance non-serial and autonomous productions in the field of design.
Last stop, not least, is the Triennale, which will host the exhibition on Philippe Starck, Belgium is Design, and among others also the exhibition on Pierluigi Ghianda.
