Hairstyles and necklines: what are the perfect combinations?
When you think about a look you don't have to stop only at the dress. It is important to understand how to value ourselves in all respects. For this reason, we recommend that you pay particular attention to the combination of hairstyles and necklines. In fact, there are some hairstyles capable of highlighting the neckline of our dress, making the outfit truly perfect.
You may not have known that, but there are very simple hairstyles to make, ideal in everyday life when you are short on time and want a cute and practical hairstyle. Check out this video to find out!
One-shoulder or asymmetrical neckline
The side hairstyles will be a sure success for the asymmetrical necklines, both on the opposite side to the dress if you want to visually compensate the appearance, and on the same side if you want to focus even more attention on this asymmetry. Braids, side tails, and even loose hair pinned to one side only will look great for this type of neckline.

Halter neckline dresses or tops combine perfectly with those high-gathered hairstyles that are not too voluminous. Especially if you are wearing a particularly flashy look, with textures, beads or bright colors, it is better to choose a well-pulled and elegant bun.
On the other hand, when it comes to simpler items of clothing, you can opt for more casual and so-called chignon messy bun.
Draped neckline
When you opt for a draped neckline, it is good to always accompany it with a semi-gathered hairstyle or a chignon, high or low, more or less casual. It will be much better than if you choose to wear your hair down because there will be the perfect balance with this already pronounced type of neckline.

This type of neckline allows two very different options. If you prefer to wear your hair loose, it is best to comb it sideways to break up the straight lines of this type of neckline. If, on the other hand, you prefer to wear your hair up, choose a medium height hairstyle, with a messy style. Forget buns that are too high and tight or very elaborate.

As in the previous case, here too we can choose between two variants, depending on what we want to highlight. If we want the neckline to be the main element of the whole look, we will opt for a collected hairstyle, preferably a chignon. With the V-neck it is possible to use both a messy bun than to a tighter and tighter chignon.
On the contrary, if what we want is to balance and compensate a little with respect to the neckline, it is better to wear the hair loose and maybe style it with soft waves.

Round and closed neckline
It is the most versatile neckline of all. Loose hair, low ponytails, high chignon, side braids ... You can show off the hairstyle of your choice and be sure it will go perfectly with your outfit. Plus, not having to think about balancing neckline and hairstyle, you can indulge yourself with many and various accessories for your hair, from hats to headbands or matching bows to the dress.

We conclude with one of the most used and trendy necklines today: the bateau or bardot neckline. Since this type of garment is characterized by leaving the shoulders and collarbones exposed, giving a sexy touch to any look, you don't want to break this sensual effect by covering this part of the body with hair. That's why you can wear your hair loose if you have a medium-short or pixie cut, but you should opt for a "close up" or "half up" hairstyle if you have long hair.
