Free spas in Italy: 9 addresses to be pampered
Today I would like to talk to you about our beautiful Italy and since we are about to leave more loads than before I would like to point out 9 WOW addresses to spend a few days relaxing and without spending a euro! Did I intrigue you? Ok, I'll stop keeping you right away on thorns: today I will give you the list of free spas in Italy totally immersed in nature
Saturnia
Let's start with one of my absolute favorites: Saturnia. Just seeing the images on the web and on Instagram literally made me daydream! The water reaches 37 degrees and I swear it's not long before our first meeting. (Province of Grosseto)

The Bullicame thermal baths are a real open-air wellness center because they offer not one but two pools: one in which hot water flows and one cold, perfect for deflating your body and reducing annoying water retention! (Viterbo)
Baths of Caronte
Ok, the name is not that great but like those of Bullicame, they offer natural springs of cold and hot water. Free admission is 300 meters from the paid one, so make sure you know where the free point is to enjoy them at low cost! (Province of Catanzaro).
Source of Sorgeto
This source is located in Ischia, a land very famous for its thermal waters. To reach them you will have to descend 200 steps but once the marathon is over I assure you that you will be amazed! (Municipality of Forio)
Bagni San Filippo
The thermal baths of Saturnia and the San Filippo baths are both located in Tuscany, in Val d’Orcia and if you feel like visiting both the thermal baths, free bingo!
At the bottom of the pools of Bagni San Filippo you will find mud that you can spread on your skin just as if you were in a paid spa. Fantastic isn't it? (Province of Siena)
Vulcano Terme
Vulcano terme is located in Sicily and even if they are not completely free spas I still recommend this breathtaking little place. The costs are not high, in reality the only thing you will be asked is a small contribution for maintenance and frankly it seems more than fair right?
These waters are highly sulphurous which will benefit your whole body, especially those suffering from joint or respiratory problems. (Province of Messina)
Bormio thermal baths
The thermal baths of Bormio are so famous that they have been mentioned by Leonardo in his famous “Codex Atlanticus”. (Valtellina)
Thermal baths of Petriolo
The thermal baths of Petriolo are very famous so avoid going there on weekends. Like those of Saturnia, these too are characterized by natural basins of limestone origin. What makes them special and unique in the world is the panorama they overlook; in addition to pampering your body you will also pamper your traveler soul because you will be able to observe suggestive ancient ruins. (Tuscany-Ombrone Valley)
Fordongianus Baths
The Fordongianus baths are also “almost free”. You will be asked for a small amount for the management of the place. When I saw the images on the Internet, I was amazed.
The waters flow at 55 degrees and are sulphurous! They contain: sulfuric acid, nitrous acid and chlorine, characteristics that contribute to the treatment of rheumatism, arthrosis, respiratory problems, the female system and finally some skin diseases. (Sardinia-Province of Oristano)
After all, life is not always unfair to those who want to save their pennies and still enjoy a relaxing day
