The city of love? It's Bologna
The learned, the fat, the red and now also the most passionate. Bologna is the city that makes love more and better according to a Durex research, which has highlighted how the Bolognese have beaten the competition of 14 other Italian capitals. Bologna has in fact recorded the highest number of per capita sales of products related to the sexual sphere, detected by the monitoring systems Nielsen for the mass markets, and IMS for the pharmaceutical channel, in the 2 months of competition (from January 15 to March 15), with a total cost of 546 thousand euros.
By winning the title of Loveville, Bologna dispels the collective myth, which has always considered southern Italy to be the most passionate area of the beautiful country. Three southern cities in fact close the ranking, instead of opening it: last Lecce, penultimate Palermo and third last Cagliari.
Why did Bologna manage to win the title of Loveville? Dr. Rossi, psychiatrist and sexologist, explains that “Bologna, a student city, has always proved to be very lively culturally, intellectually and socially, perhaps because its male population seems to be historically among the most gifted in Italy. The fact that Bologna was awarded the Loveville 2013 award shows how couples here, more than in other cities in Italy, experience complicit, natural and satisfying sex. The Bolognese and those who breathe the atmosphere of the city prove that they know how to have fun not only on the Riviera and in the summer, but they experience pleasure as vitality and joy at any time of the year ".
