Cerulean eyes: what it means to have them and how to make them stand out
The cerulean eyes have all shades of blue: from the darkest to the light one, passing through the blue that turns towards green. This particular and rare color gives a mysterious and seductive look, which is enhanced with an intense make-up declined with various shades of eyeshadow. Surely, however, one of the make-up accessories to never forget is mascara: in this video you can find out how to apply it to perfection.
What does cerulean eyes mean
Cerulean eyes are a particular shade of eyes distinguished by an extraordinary and rare shade of blue. It can range from deep blue to lighter, passing through various shades of green. The word cerulean derives from the Latin "caeruleus" (which means "dark blue" or "blue green") and also refers to the term "caelulum"; it is the diminutive of "caelum", or "heaven", "sky". It is a very beautiful and rare iris color.
Another feature that makes cerulean eyes so special is that they change shades as the light changes: they are, that is, iridescent. If the weather, for example, is clear, they will be greener with only a few shades of blue, while if it is cloudy, the iris will fade to gray.
It can be said, therefore, that these eyes are a little blue-blue, a little light green (almost teal), depending on the intensity of the light.

The meaning of the cerulean eyes
The iridescent color of cerulean eyes is determined by the melanin present in the iris and in popular tradition it has always been a peculiar feature associated with people with a magnetic character.
The clear eyes (blue, green or blue), in fact, have always been associated with figures endowed with powers, even supernural, such as knights, princesses, mythological and religious creatures; Jesus and the Madonna, for example, were often depicted with blond hair and light eyes.
However, cerulean eyes are not a positive symbol for all cultures: in the Greek island of Santorini, for example, it was thought that those who had blue irises after death would turn into a vampire.
In modern times, however, light eyes are often associated with people with a meditative, spiritual, almost wise character: this is because, according to the "armocromia", blue is the color of water, harmony and balance.
If the cerulean hue tends to light gray or green, the person will be not only kind and sensitive, but also full of life and fun.
How to make up cerulean eyes
The make-up to enhance this particular shade of color is very varied. Cerulean eyes, in fact, not having a very precise shade, lend themselves to numerous variations: you can use eye shadows with warm colors (such as brown, orange, yellow) or cold (such as purple). Precious allies are revealed. also black pencil, eyeliner, mascara and a good make-up base. The final goal, however, is to enhance their brightness.
Those who love the most delicate make-up, can create one that recalls the same shades of the iris. You can, therefore, use blue, blue and green eyeshadows, and play with their shades (light blue, turquoise, cobalt blue, water green, ...). The important thing is to complete everything with a stroke of pencil, eye liner or a nice coat of mascara to give intensity to the look.
For blue-eyed girls who love simple and natural tones, the top is to choose neutral shades. Green light to the shades of beige, brown and dove gray. Very nice is also the effect of an eye made up with a smocky eye because the contrast between the iridescent eyes and the dark eyeshadow gives an aura of unattainable mystery.
The other eyeshadow colors that go very well with blue eyes are eggplant purple, plum, bronze, gold and silver.
On the other hand, all pastel colors that are too light (such as pink, green and very light blue) should be avoided because they make the gaze not very intense.
