No sex, we're German!

A good 1,043 German women between the ages of 29 and 39 took part in the investigation and made it possible to shed light on women's habits in terms of sexual relations. In fact, if it is quite common to think that men do not have much resistance when it comes to abstinence, this issue is almost never addressed from the point of view of women.

The results are quite surprising. As many as 58% of the interviewees could easily do without sex. 27% lasted six months while 41% managed to cover twelve months, but nearly one in three women admitted they hadn't had sex for even two years.

Furthermore, after three months of abstinence, only 14% said they felt restless, after 6 months 22% felt stressed and 35% said they were desperate after a year of lack of sexual activity.

It would be interesting to compare these results with similar surveys in other countries, to see if it is a typically female result or if the context and the country of origin also influence this apparent lack of interest in some way.
