Lollobrigida jewels up for auction

The timeless jewels are signed by Bulgari, a maison of which Lollobrigida has collected many valuable pieces over the years.

Among the objects put up for auction are a pair of earrings with emeralds, estimated at between 150 and 200 thousand dollars, and earrings in natural pearls and diamonds, which could even reach 1 million dollars.

Part of the proceeds from the sale will go to stem cell research, at the request of the actress.

© Sotheby "s For the lucky few and collectors it is an unrepeatable event, given the economic but also historical value of the jewels: just think that some of these were worn during unrepeatable events, such as the meeting between the diva and Princess Margherita in 1967.

Before being put up for auction, the jewels will travel around the world in a traveling exhibition that will visit Rome, London, New York and Geneva. In Rome, specifically, they will be exhibited on April 19 at the headquarters of the auction house.
