Marco Taranto is the winner of the first edition of Project Runway Italia, the talent show on the world of fashion by FoxLife presented by the splendid Eva Herzigova who availed herself of the help of fashion and costume experts such as the designer Alberta Ferretti, Tomaso Trussardi and Ildo Damiano.

Born in Germany, but raised in Calabria, Marco dedicates the Project Runway victory to his grandmother. It was in fact grandmother Rosa, the local seamstress, who ignited in him the passion for fashion since he was a child. Marco is assistant lecturer at a fashion school in Rome, a city he loves and an inexhaustible source of inspiration.
