Disney English, the first TV program that teaches English to children!
Thanks to the collaboration between Disney and Sky, it was born Disney English, an innovative television program designed specifically to bring the little ones closer to learning the English language through play in the company of the most beloved Disney characters of all time.
The course is entirely available exclusively for users of the New Sky On Demand and Sky Go and is broadcast every day at 8.00 on the Disney in English channel (Sky channel 619). It is a "fun and original idea that aims to familiarize children with the new language through a creative method, which does not bore the little viewer and rather involves him, allowing him to learn at the same time.
With the interactive English course, children aged 4 to 8 will be able to learn about 300 words and 150 phrases including expressions and idioms. Each episode, lasting 35 minutes, is built around a particular theme (numbers, colors, seasons, art, holidays, hobbies, etc.) and revolves around 15 words and some key phrases, exploiting the association between terms and images as well as repetition, to facilitate memorization even for children who still cannot read.
Each episode is structured in a simple way with a fixed order that sees an introduction with a musical theme, followed by the intervention of a group of mother tongue children who will introduce the theme of the episode and finally an episode in Italian of one of the three series. by Disney Junior (The House of Mickey Mouse, Little Einsteins and The Special Agent OSO) with interactive and educational breaks in English. At the end you return to the studio where the mother tongue children interact with each other using the new words and themes of the episode and closes with a music video and an in-depth study on phonetics to learn how to pronounce the sounds of English words.
