COVID-19: how to behave at the airport. All the rules to follow.
Since the Italians are preparing for the long-awaited summer 2020, I have prepared a mini guide that collects all the rules on how to behave at the airport to combat the Coronavirus. I know that some are frightened and afraid of returning to travel, even if they will do it within our country. To be honest I understand all this discomfort. , but there is a voice inside me that pushes me to take courage and to continue to leave despite everything.
I am a traveler and travel blogger and this fact cannot be canceled even by Covid. But now, no more babble: here is the info on the type of conduct to keep at the airport to avoid Covid. I want to clarify that all the rules that I will list have been extrapolated from the official EASA document.

Until the invisible enemy is defeated you will have to:
- respect the social distancing (stickers have been applied to the airport flooring to remind you that the mandatory distance to be maintained is 1.5 meters from each other);
- wear the mask (it must be worn from the moment you enter the airport until the "exit" of the destination airport and for the entire duration of the flight);
- inform via intercom announcements and the use of screens about the hygiene rules to be followed for your own safety;
- sanitize all surfaces;
- ensure adequate ventilation of the rooms avoiding recycling;
- frequently sanitize your hands;
- all personnel must wear gloves and a mask, change their work uniform often or wear protective overalls;
- In the event that passengers reach the plane via the bus, more than one will be arranged to respect the social distancing;
- sneezing and coughing while covering your mouth with your hand or elbow even if you are wearing a mask;
- fill in a self-certification stating that you do not have the Coronavirus;
- get on board the plane respecting the social distancing and proceeding by plane, in order to avoid crowds or traffic jams (same for disembarking);
- leave the airport immediately as soon as you have collected your hold baggage;
- enter the airport only if you have to take a flight or if you have a special permit;
If you have any other doubts and questions, please contact the airline directly. There is still a lot of confusion around so go directly to the source!
Here ends the lineup of rules on how to behave at the airport due to the Coronavirus. I hope that thanks to the measures taken you can travel around Italy or Europe with more peace of mind
