Correct defects when painting the walls of the house

Correct burrs
Smudges occur when there is an excess of paint. If the paint is not yet dry, just spread it with a spatula, otherwise you will have to scrape the burrs, sand the wall with sandpaper and, after removing the dust with a brush, repaint the wall.
Correct the chalking
If you have diluted the paint too much, drying the paint layer will tend to "chalky", that is, to turn into dust. Then you have to remove the paint from the wall and start over.
Avoid cracks
Cracks appear with wear or if the paint does not adhere well to the wall. Unfortunately there is no real solution, you will have to scrape everything and repaint.
Avoid bubbles
Bubbles appear when the substrate is wet. In this case, before correcting the defect you will have to fight infiltrations or use products that absorb moisture. Only when the problem is solved can you remove the paint with a heat gun or a chemical solvent and repaint, using a microporous paint.
Fight against encrusted dirt
As you paint, sometimes small particles of dirt become encrusted in the paint. In this case you have to sand it lightly and dry with a sponge. When the surface is perfectly dry, repaint.
Remove the peeling paint
The paint peels off when it adheres poorly to the wall because the latter was poorly prepared or because traces of the previous layers of paint remained. If this defect is limited to a small part of the wall, gently scrape it with a wide-bladed painter's knife and smooth it with sandpaper. Prepare the affected part well and repaint. If, on the other hand, the damage is extensive, you will have to remove the paint and redo everything!
Bring back gloss to the paint
Glossy paints can lose their gloss. This happens if it was too cold when you painted, if the wall was poorly prepared or if the first coat of paint was not yet completely dry when you applied the second coat. In this case, lightly sand the wall, remove the dust and apply another layer of gloss finish.
Remove the brush marks
If you have applied the paint poorly, if you have applied too much or not enough, the brush will leave marks. You need to vigorously pass the sandpaper over the wall and apply another coat of paint.
Make the roller tracks disappear
If while you were painting you have pressed too hard on the roller and you see signs of it, you just have to sand the wall a little and repaint.
