This is no joke, it is a true calorie-absorbing dish, created by the Thai Health Promotion Foundation to combat the problems related to obesity (also because South East Asia is in 2nd place with very high levels). for a population that has different eating habits and ways of cooking, however the functionality exists and it is this: to make meals lighter for everyone, and it is also nice!

How the Absorbplat works

The calorie absorbing plate, the Absorbplate, is made up of 500 small holes very close together, each with its own creative design, which allow to separate the excess oil from the food. It has the ability to absorb around 7ml of fat from each meal. This, of course, affects the calories that are assimilated when the meal is actually eaten. Sounds like a dream, right?

How to reduce calories for our well-being

The Absorbplat highlights how the "health issue" has a greater importance than that of the sculpted physique. That many like a flat stomach is certain but the well-being of the body is a fundamental element for a diet. The calorie absorbing dish is a valid support for reducing the fat in our meals. But we should also solve the problem upstream by choosing a healthier lifestyle: doing sports or in any case physical activity, which helps to burn calories, keep fit and feel good about yourself; choosing a balanced diet, avoiding the most caloric foods, and getting our (required) daily allowance of calories with healthier foods, such as quinoa or rice.
