Urban Art: when art transforms cities into open-air museums

If wandering around the streets of Paris, London or New York you happened to come across colored traffic dividers, rainbow steps, panettone painted as if they were penguins or hamburgers or manholes transformed into skeletons ... you have found yourself in front of what it is widely defined as urban art. This type of art gives color to a city without the need for specific installations, glass that enclose it or walls that surround it.
