Damaged nails: how to cure them
Whether they are grandmother's remedies or specific products on the market, each solution we offer is excellent for having strong and healthy nails again!
Proper nutrition
The health and appearance of your nails primarily depend on what you eat. Like hair, nails are essentially made up of keratin fibers and therefore can only be nourished through proper nutrition, there are no local applications. Having damaged nails is often a symptom of a deficiency vitamin B, which is contained in cereals, brewer's yeast, wheat, almonds, walnuts, fish and crustaceans, or a lack of football (contained in dairy products) and mineral salts (iron, zinc, magnesium).
The gestures to avoid damaging the nails
- Don't bite your nails
- If your nails break easily, don't cut them but limal using a soft, cardboard file. Never use an iron file, which spoils the keratin. File the nail always in the same direction, so as not to double it, starting from the sides and then moving towards the center.
- Occasionally put on some strengthening nail polish instead of the regular one, but don't do it too often, otherwise your nails risk becoming too hard and breaking more easily.
- To wash the dishes and do the cleaning use gloves, because the chemicals weaken the nails.
- In order not to dry out your nails, when you remove the nail polish use a acetone-free solvent
