What does the ascendant mean
The ascendant is intrinsically linked to the birth of a person. It corresponds, in fact, to the zodiac sign that arises at the precise moment in which we are born, or the point of the zodiac that meets the terrestrial horizon to the east during birth. Furthermore, considering the subdivision into 12 houses, it should be specified that there is total correspondence between the ascendant and the first cusp, the point from which the sky begins to be divided from house to house.
