Are you passionate about vintage? Do you prefer to find a unique and precious dress in a flea market instead of commuting between the shops? Or are you just curious and want to know more? The ideal event for you is Milan Vintage Week, in its first edition, which will be held from 9 to 13 April, every day from 11 to 21, in via Giovanni Battista Piranesi 4, in the Riccardo Grassi showroom.
This market exhibition is organized with the support of A.N.G.E.L.O., a brand founded by Angelo Caroli, a true expert in the sector with his historic three-storey vintage fashion building in Lugo di Romagna. In addition to the market, there will be a series of meetings and insights on fashion and costume: the writer Aura Nobolo, an expert in etiquette, will give different suggestions to deal with the different aspects of social life in style, such as receiving guests or getting married. Journalist Lisa Corva will give suggestions to be glamorous without spending a fortune, while Bianca Cappello, historian and jeweler, will illustrate the history of vintage jewelry. There will also be the interventions of two much loved fashion bloggers, Guapitatondita (Eleonora Lanzetti), who will decline vintage for curvy women, and Aglitteringwoman (Emanuela Pirré), jewelry collector and vintage enthusiast.
And then again: two themed fashion exhibitions, focused on the world of the headscarf and that of the bride, and even a convenient way designed to reach the location of the event: the use of Uber, the new urban transport system, and cost reduction, which is also a partner of the initiative.
