DIY face scrub: how to make a homemade scrub suitable for your skin!
Making a do-it-yourself face scrub is not only simple, but also very useful (if not essential!) For cleaning your skin, whether oily, dry or mixed. A scrub, in fact, can help you in a natural way to cleanse the epidermis in depth, making it smooth to the touch, bright and full of life.
The scrub consists of a homogeneous compound inside which micro-granules are contained: in DIY products it is generally salt, sugar or bicarbonate. By massaging this compound on the face with circular movements, the micro-granules remove all traces of dirt or impurities (starting from the terrible blackheads!), Acting in the deepest layer of the epidermis, cleaning it like no other product has ever done!
Making a scrub at home costs you nothing: the ingredients of the recipes we propose will already be present in your kitchen, and in any case they are really cheap food products. Why not try it now then? Here are the instructions you need to prepare do-it-yourself scrubs for all skin types:
Do-it-yourself face scrub: instructions for use
Before getting a scrub it is always better to dilate the pores of the face, so that the treatment can be more effective. To do this, treat yourself to a steam bath, then massage with a gentle toner.

The best time to get a scrub is in the evening, before going to sleep: in this way you can prepare the skin for a better reception of the night cream, freeing it from any residual makeup.
When applying the product, be careful to avoid the most sensitive areas, such as the lip contour and the eye contour, which could become irritated. Don't forget to do your homemade scrub at most once a week, no more, or it could damage your skin. It would be best to do this every 15 days.

Facial scrub for oily skin
An excess of sebum makes the skin on your face oily. A specific scrub will help make it appear less shiny and oily, while also reducing pimples and other impurities.
A first scrub you can experiment with is the one (delicious) based on banana and without oils that can make the skin even more oily. To make it, just mash half a banana until it is reduced to pulp, then add a teaspoon and a half of brown sugar. Mix everything until you get a homogeneous cream, then apply it on the face, massaging it with circular movements. Rinse with warm water.
Another scrub suitable for oily skin is the honey one, excellent for cleansing the face. Take a teaspoon, mix it together with another of sugar and one of baking soda. Apply the mixture thus obtained on the face, always massage it with circular movements and rinse after a few minutes.
But the real ally against excess sebum is only one: lemon! Its astringent effect is particularly suitable for cleaning the pores. Make your own DIY scrub by mixing two tablespoons of salt or sugar (to your liking) with Make sure the mixture remains grainy, massage it on your face, rinse with warm water and you're done!

Dry facial skin is particularly fragile and prone to flaking. The appropriate scrub must therefore be very delicate and able not only to cleanse, but also to hydrate and revitalize the skin, so as not to worsen its appearance.
Try making an olive oil-based scrub that is very nutritious and easy to make. All you need is two tablespoons of olive oil, one tablespoon of honey and three teaspoons of brown sugar. Mix the ingredients until smooth, then spread it on your face, massage and - after a few minutes - rinse.
Another do-it-yourself scrub suitable for dry skin is the one based on coconut oil: two tablespoons of this super-moisturizing oil mixed with two tablespoons of sugar and lemon juice (ideal for purifying) will be enough to make a scrub with flakes.

An aloe vera-based scrub is especially good if your face has combination skin. The third scrub for combination skin is truly a delight, you will want to taste it! Take a teaspoon of unsweetened cocoa powder and mix it with one of honey, until you get a smooth paste. The cocoa will perform an excellent purifying and smoothing function.
Facial scrub against blackheads
Are blackheads your problem? This imperfection is due to the accumulation of sebum on the skin of the face, when the pores are blocked. A scrub will be an excellent way to purify the skin, eliminate dots and make it breathe again!
Make a scrub based on egg whites, mixing one with the juice of half a lemon and two teaspoons of brown sugar. Spread the mixture on your face, massaging well, insisting especially on the areas with blackheads. Rinse with warm water or, if your skin is not irritated, with a mixture of water and lemon juice.
Another easy-to-make blackhead scrub includes two teaspoons of brown sugar, two teaspoons of honey and one of lemon juice. Mix everything carefully, then massage it on your face and rinse. Your skin will immediately be more beautiful, smooth and clean.
Finally, here is the simplest natural scrub in the world: baking soda! With its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial function it is a real cure-all for the skin of the face, it acts as an exfoliant. Mix some with distilled water (one tablespoon of the first and one of the second), apply the mixture on the areas with blackheads and massage with circular movements before rinsing. This scrub, however, is not recommended if you have very irritated or inflamed skin.
