Wear heels
Walk correctly in heels
- Adopt a swaying "gait". To walk well in heels you have to sway your hips as if you were slipping, to find balance. But be careful not to get vulgar.
- Work out. Try taking short trips, to go and buy bread, for example. With heels you don't have to run a marathon, you just have to feel confident.
- Choose the right height. The minimum heel for the back is 3 centimeters. Beyond 9 centimeters the foot will be too arched and you will find it difficult to balance. The right height is 5-6cm.
- What matters is the stability of the shoe. When you walk, the foot must not tremble and the knees must not bend too much, so as not to strain them. Choose a slightly square heel and an upper that matches the shape and movement of the foot.
Choosing the right heels
- The beginners: You take off your sneakers only to put on the ballet flats. But beware: it is not good to walk in ultra flat shoes. You risk getting back pain. If you want to change your style, do not rush the steps and do not choose a heel of more than 6 cm. And if you really care, try the wedges, more stable than shoes with a very high heel.
- The experts: You've been wearing heels since you were 15, and your dream is a pair of stiletto heels. Everything is allowed, but watch out for your ankles ...
How to wear heels
- You are curvy: Choose very high heels (but don't overdo it!), To slim the silhouette.
- You are small: Choose comfortable décolletées, perhaps with wedges, or ballet flats with a square heel.
- You are very tall: In your case, very high heels are of little use. Choose décolletées with thin heels of no more than 6 cm, so as not to look like a giraffe.
- You are tall and thin: Everything is permitted! Heels will add an elegant note to your look. For example, with the slim décolletées will give you a chic and at the same time rock air.
