#LoveYourLines: the hashtag that celebrates the imperfections that make every woman unique
The glossy magazine covers show us perfect models: lean bodies, smooth skin and no signs of aging or the like. But not all women are like that! Often they hide many small imperfections that make them feel uncomfortable with their body and among others.
Among these "defects" there are stretch marks, imperfections that affect most women for various causes, such as pregnancy or sudden weight changes, but also inelastic skin, hormonal changes .... Unfortunately these skin scars are almost impossible to be eliminated, if not surgically (and in any case not so effectively), and many women prefer to cover them under layers and layers of fabric. But stretch marks are not just imperfections, they are signs that tell our story and a life lived in all its aspects.
The loveyourlines Instagram account, born from the idea of two mothers who know the problem of stretch marks well, wants to show the world that women are also made up of these small defects that must not be hidden.

The Instagram account quickly gathered over 40,000 followers, while many women from all over the world are participating in the project by posting photos of their stretch marks with the hashtag #LoveYourLines.
This phenomenon is not only made up of black and white images, in fact under each posted photograph you can read the short stories of ordinary women: from pregnancies at a young or old age, up to the most serious diseases that not only leave scars on the body, but also in the "soul.
