Christmas tree? Better fake

The Upstate Medical University published in the journal Annals of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology the results of a research carried out by Dr. Lawrence Kurlandsky who examined 28 pieces of Christmas firs (including needles, bark, etc.) after noting that, during the Christmas holidays, respiratory diseases were on the increase.

The team found that fir trees may be responsible for itchy noses, watery eyes, coughs, and symptoms that affect the respiratory tract as 53 different types of mold can nest inside the trees (albeit cut).

Obviously, there is also the possibility of dust accumulated on fir trees and decorations, as the boxes were often closed in attics or on high shelves where dust forms easily. It is therefore important to always try to dust before decorating. but, in any case, whether it is for ecological reasons or for health reasons, why not opt for a fake fir?
