5 reasons why Kate Middleton is a perfect big sister!
The wedding of the year took place on Saturday 20 May, the one between Pippa Middleton and James Matthews. Much chatted and very paparazzi, the ceremony took place in the church of St. Mark in Berkshire, in front of 130 guests for a cost of 250 thousand pounds. 10 times that of a normal British wedding (after all, did we have any doubts?).
Pippa wore a beautiful white lace dress with a high neckline on the front and a small sweetheart neckline on the back. As expected, everything went smoothly: invited by dream outfits, sobriety and elegance everywhere, little George and Charlotte among the page boys and a beautiful Kate by his side. And it is precisely the Duchess of Cambridge who amazed us with her role of elder sister, played to perfection. That's why Pippa couldn't hope for a better sister!
1. Why she chose a low profile dress
Let's face it, getting married and having the Duchess of Cambridge as a bridesmaid isn't exactly that easy. The risk of slipping behind the image of one of the most beloved women in England, and beyond, was really around the corner. Yet Kate proved to be an intelligent and respectful woman, choosing to step back and celebrate her his Pippa, in the most elegant and discreet way possible, starting from the outfit. A pastel pink dress, simple and delicate, with a matching hat: no bright colors, eccentric models and possible risqué necklines; Kate, also thanks to the choice of the dress, sent a clear message to the whole world: "today, forget me, it's my sister, Pippa's day".

That's right: Kate's main business during her sister's wedding was coordinating and managing the group of pageboys and bridesmaids to make sure everything ran according to plan. From start to finish, the Duchess of Cambridge played the role of perfect babysitter, always committed to following the children in their movements, and even intervening several times to call them to order.

There was not a moment in the ceremony when Kate was not at her sister's side to support her, but without ever stealing the show. With a watchful and attentive eye, Kate followed her little sister step by step throughout the ceremony. starting from the entrance to the church complete with the arrangement of the train and the veil, perhaps the most tender and moving gesture of the whole ceremony.

Have you ever seen a picture of Kate next to her man on this very important day for her little sister? Not at all! All her energy was focused on making sure the ceremony went smoothly. For a day, therefore, the eldest of the Middletons has abandoned the role of the Duchess of Cambridge - always alongside William - remaining only Kate.

5. Because she did not allow herself to be overwhelmed by emotion and managed everything in the best possible way
A good mom knows when to raise her voice and be respected, and if that means ending up on every internet site imaginable, it doesn't matter! And so did our Kate, who did not let herself be distracted by the excitement of the day and continued to carry out her task as a rather strict and attentive mother, so that everything ran smoothly. Thus, heedless of external eyes and flash of the photographers, intervened with a little lecture against little George, a bit "too rowdy for the circumstance. The gesture gave rise to the cutest and loveliest off-stage of the ceremony with a "desperate" and tender cry of the eldest son who obviously went around the world. And for this Kate too, we thank you!
