Grammy Awards 2014: all the winners

Yesterday, January 26, the 56th edition of the Grammy Awards was held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, one of the most important musical events in the United States that rewards the most successful artists and groups of the past year. Undisputed winners of this edition were the French duo of Duft Punk, who with their record, Random Access Memories, won four grammys: best album of the year, best dance album, best duo and best recording with the song Get Lucky.

Joel Little and Ella Yelich O'Connor, authors of Royals, sung by Lorde, who also won the best solo category, while the award for best new artists went to Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, authors of the song about homosexual love Same love, with whom they performed on the stage of the ceremony for a show of great impact: a mass wedding, with 34 gay, straight and mixed-race couples, to the tune of the song, sung together with an exceptional guest, Madonna who then played his old hit Open You Heart.

The legendary Paul McCartney with the song Cut me some slack, sung together former Nirvana drummer, now Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, took the award for best rock song.

The award for best pop vocal album went to Bruno Mars, while the crooner par excellence, Michael Bublè, won with To Be Loved the best traditional album category. The award for best rock performance went to Imagine Dragons for Radioactive, while the one for best metal performance was awarded to Black Sabbath. Finally, Rihanna won for best Urban-Contemporary album, Alicia Keys for best R&B album and Jay Z and Justin Timberlake for best collaboration on the piece. Holy Grail.

In addition to the touching performance on the notes of Same love, another moment to remember of the 56th edition of the Grammy Awards was the sensual performance of Beyoncè and her husband Jay-Z at the opening of the ceremony, where the ex Destiny "s Child has further proved his skill and sexy charge.
