Pensions and work: we begin today to build the future
From 14 to 16 May the National Day of Welfare and Labor returns to Milan, at the headquarters of the Italian Stock Exchange in Palazzo Mezzanotte and Piazza degli Affari, three days dedicated to the world of work with a particular focus on youth, pensions and welfare between consultancy, social security speed-dates and conferences.
The purpose of the initiative, now in its fourth edition, is to try to meet the needs of employees and self-employed workers, freelancers grappling with entrepreneurship and new challenges, and above all, young people who are entering the world of work for first time.
The event will see about sixty conferences, 80 stands, interactive stations for doing your social security check-up, advice for those who are ready to start a business and quick social security speed-dates to ask specific questions to sector experts.
The theme of work will characterize GNP2014 in particular, with the parallel event #servelavoro. For all three days, in fact, a tensile structure will be specially set up in which it will be possible to receive useful information on interviews, curricula, online work, calls for tenders, opportunities for professional growth.
During the three days, a "temporary coworking area and a real" island of professionals "will also be installed, with sector experts ready to provide free advice and answer the most varied questions, from how to open a" company to the peculiarities of the game. VAT, to employment contracts, to offer the most practical information.
After the success of the last edition, the "Orange Envelope" initiative will also return, thanks to which everyone will be able to obtain an effective projection of what their pension will be, receiving advice on any supplementary pension instruments.
The wind does not focus only on children close to the world of work, but also on the very young: middle school students will in fact find activities dedicated to them, and parents will be able to discuss the prospects that open up after eighth grade by receiving useful advice and suggestions.
