5 exercises to do while doing the services

How boring house cleaning! It is well known that doing the services is not a lot of fun, but unfortunately it is up to all of us. Have you ever thought about taking advantage of it to train?

Home cleaning can become a fun way to do some fitness and keep fit by firming the muscles of the legs, arms, abs, chest and buttocks! With the exercises we recommend, you just need to pay a little more attention in performing the classic movements that you are already used to doing when cleaning.

Put on some music and start training with a vacuum cleaner, cloth and iron in your hand! A smart way to save gym money and above all time, which is never enough.

1. Train your arms and legs while vacuuming!

Do you have to vacuum? A great opportunity to train both arms and legs! How? First make sure you adjust the length of the vacuum cleaner handle well to make sure you never have to bend your back: it is important that you stay straight while you stretch your arm! Do deep and regular stretches on your legs, first one. and then the other, remembering to change arms frequently to train both.

If you prefer the broom to the vacuum cleaner, the movement is the same: move the weight of the body first on one leg then on the other, extending the foot and the corresponding arm. However, consider that with the vacuum cleaner you will encounter greater resistance and burn more calories.

2. Firm your buttocks by cleaning the bathroom!

To clean the bathroom fixtures (toilet, bidet, but also the bathtub) you have to bend down: avoid doing it with your back and go squat! Bend over your legs, taking care to keep your back straight and that your knees never go beyond your toes. Also be careful not to lift your heels!

The squat is really the best exercise to get firm and toned buttocks. You can take advantage of it to do some when doing any domestic service that requires a push-up! Watch our video to understand how to best perform the movement on any occasion:

3. Tighten your chest by washing windows!

To get firm breasts and train your chest and shoulder muscles, take advantage of the movements you make to wash the windows!

Stand in front of the window and place your palm with the rag on the glass, being careful to keep your elbow close to your body. Make circular movements with your forearm: a dozen are enough, then change arms.
To make your muscles work even more, put palm pressure on the glass.

4. Tone your hips and thighs as you stretch!

Yes, ironing can also be an "excellent opportunity for some fitness"!

When in front of the ironing board, place your weight on both feet, with your legs slightly apart. As you pass the iron, move your hip to the right and hold the position for 5 seconds. On the next pass, move your hip to the left. Alternate both hips, being careful to keep the thigh muscles tight. Goodbye love handles!

5. Stretch by dusting!

Finally, take advantage of your dusting movements to do some stretching. If you have to stretch your arm to get to pass the cloth on the top shelf, do it properly, focusing on the contraction of the abdominal muscles and being careful to alternate the movement with both parts of the body, right and left.
