If you are a DIY lover, you can use the DIY highlight kits. If you feel practical enough, however, remember that, if the bleaching agent you will find is in powder, it will be mixed with the volumes of oxygen according to the doses indicated on the package: generally 40 volumes are used to lighten by 4 tones. The installation times must also be respected carefully by checking the progress of the procedure from time to time, on average between 30 and 45 minutes. Once you have reached the desired level of bleaching, switch to shampoo and continue with drying and styling.

Shatush highlights

A first and very current variant of highlights is the Shatush. For detailed information on this technique, please refer to our sheet. Just to give you an idea, know that it is a very natural lightening process that is obtained by teasing the hair, bleaching it and applying the color only on the tips - the retonization is provided above all for those who start from already dyed hair - or simply leave the lightening effect of the bleach. Not recommended in case of brittle or brittle hair.

Balayage highlights

It involves lightening rather large strands of hair, but only on the ends or lengths. The result is a lightening similar to that of a long beach holiday, therefore quite natural. Unlike Shatush, the hair will be lightened evenly and without teasing the tips. For more information read here.

Highlights: Uplighting

Simple procedure to carry out and reserved for the most courageous as it consists in lightening very thin locks in a clear and visible way (by at least two tones). The bi-color result will be even more evident and contrasting if the starting color is dark.

Highlights: Paneling

A rather complex and laborious technique, Paneling is a multitone coloring. All the strands are treated and lightened in a different way, to give a more full-bodied appearance to the hair. The final effect? Voluminous and full, therefore very suitable for those with thin hair that needs more vigor.
