1. The solid color looks

If you are a big fan of this color, and you want to see it everywhere, try wearing the solid color. Combining two pieces, for example top and pants, can be difficult, especially if you take pieces from various brands and with different shades. You can play at breaking up the monochrome look without leaving this color family, for example by combining burgundy and burgundy or marsala, or play it safe and wear a burgundy suit, or an elegant dress. 2. In combination with black & white

The two main ways to combine burgundy, if you want to avoid total color, are: resort to white or black, or a combination of both. It will seem like a lazy and too easy solution, but you will see that the combinations will satisfy you! The white + burgundy will allow both colors to stand out more: the candid color, in fact, illuminates the burgundy but at the same time lights up in the comparison. Black + burgundy, on the other hand, is a more elegant and important solution, ideal especially in winter and suitable for all ages. The combinations of black & white, on the other hand, can range from stripes to polka dots, from geometric patterns to prints (as simple as possible, though).

3. With light and neutral shades

If you are looking for something more studied, which reveals a certain wisdom in combining colors and an excellent bon ton taste, here's what you could do: use burgundy together with a neutral color such as gray, or nude, or to a pastel color, for example light blue or pink (from the more natural variant to powder), or again, to a warm shade, brown and camel in the first place. The result will be more severe in the case of burgundy + gray, more romantic if combine this color with powder, and more chic if you opt for a combination with camel or light blue. Make your choice according to your tastes, and above all according to the situation in which you want to use these combinations.

4. Burgundy + denim, prints and bright colors

If you want to give your burgundy garment a casual chic tone, the solution is immediate: combine it with denim. Even an elegant burgundy coat, with a chic and elegant line, combined with jeans will immediately become more urban, and this will greatly rejuvenate your look. As for the combination between burgundy and prints or bright colors, be very careful not to overdo it: you can take inspiration from the photos below: burgundy should be combined with prints rather similar to the color family (yes to the red dominant prints, marsala, burgundy, dark pink, onion, brick), while, if you want to add touches of lively color, it is better to play on sharp contrasts, on the color block that compares burgundy and electric blue, or burgundy and ocher yellow.

5. The accessories

And the accessories? Here is a series of images for you to draw inspiration from. Even if you have only one accessory of this color, the general rules to follow do not change: you can make it stand out thanks to the combination with neutral or powdery colors such as gray and pink, or create a contrast with white, or, again, give a touch darker, and darken the tones by combining burgundy and black. The choice is yours!

Burgundy and make-up: the perfect combination for those who are not afraid to dare

Burgundy is a color that is also very popular with make-up artists and fans of the sector. Of course, it is definitely not a nuance that lends itself to being used every day and on any occasion, but sometimes it's nice to be able to revolutionize your appearance with a different eye shadow or lipstick. In particular, this nuance is suitable for those with cold undertone skin, as it is capable of enhancing it and giving brightness to the complexion. As for the eyes, however, burgundy is particularly suitable for a beautiful pair of green eyes, but also hazelnut brown, preferably large because, being a rather dark shade, it could contribute to further lowering the eyelid, "oppressing " the eyes.

It is not entirely unusual for a person to choose burgundy for the color of the walls - better just one -, some accessories or upholstery. It is an innovative and interesting choice of furniture, suitable for those who want to live in a place characterized by innovation and originality. Burgundy at home can be useful for warming the environment, for example, and making it more intimate. It is known, in fact, for giving the room a cozy, relaxing and well-kept atmosphere. The advantage of this shade is that it blends easily with both a classic and a modern style. The same rules mentioned above also apply to furniture: perfect in combination with light and neutral colors, which soften the intensity, or with those colors that create further contrast, such as mustard or electric blue. When to avoid it instead? In small and dark rooms because it would contribute to increase the sense of claustrophobia.
