High Quality: Italian excellence between food and culture
Appointment with food and good Italian products. High Quality is a market exhibition with conferences, seminars, show cooking, taste workshops and for children, organized by the Signum Cultural Association of Bergamo. High Quality will show not only the Italian food and wine excellences but we will also talk about healthy and sustainable food (a theme that will be at the center of Expo 2015), the protection of made in Italy, respect for traditions and the territory, and elimination of waste.
During the event it will be possible to taste the products of the exhibitors, participate in tastings and workshops, and attend various conferences that will deal, among other things, with environmental sustainability, archeology and architecture, vegan and celiac nutrition. There is also a program dedicated to children, with many creative activities that will take place inside a village of yurts - the homes of the nomadic peoples of Asia - set up in the garden of Villa Castelbarco. But High Quality is also culture: we would like to point out the appointments with the artist Michelangelo Pistoletto, the founder of Slow Food Carlo Petrini, the archaeologist Klaus Schmidt. High Quality Godmother will be Cristina Parodi. The program is available on the event website, www.alta-qualita.it
Entrance tickets cost 8 euros; 1 euro will be donated to the development projects of the Cesvi non-profit organization, which has been involved for years in humanitarian missions in over 30 countries.
