- choose the right consistency, not too thick so as not to create thickness but to suggest transparency and lightness
- Choose a color that is as close to natural as possible

2. Create points of light

3. For a flawless light make-up, go for a nude eye make-up!
If you want to do a light make-up, you should aim for the most natural eye make-up possible. The options are different: you can not put the eyeshadow at all, and maybe use a little foundation on the eyelid, or opt for light shades of eyeshadow, such as the various shades of nudes - from beige to pink - up to shades a a little more decisive, but always natural, than dove gray and delicate brown.
If there is a certain freedom on the "eyeshadow", what is indispensable is the mascara, even more so on a light and delicate make-up like the one we want to create. In fact, mascara helps to define the look and make it more intense and deeper. Don't be afraid to overdo it: in this case, to get a flawless effect, you need to apply two or three coats and, possibly, choose a lengthening one. You can also use a thin line eyeliner, without quotes, which is a little too artificial for the result we want to achieve, or a black pencil, preferably only on the top.
To emphasize the look, rather than treading too much on eyeshadows and pencils, focus on the eyebrows: fill them, if necessary, using a pencil of your exact color; thick and natural looking eyebrows give character and intensify the look.
4. Play with some color on the lips
You also have several options for the lips. You can choose to keep the nude effect with a simple cocoa butter or a brighter transparent gloss, or opt for nude lipsticks, from a thousand shades of pink to beige, up to the more decisive shades of dove gray or light brown, preferably from the matte finish.
If you really don't want to give up color, opt for a touch of red, which is always appreciated; instead, avoid strong colors such as purple, browns and tones of rouge noir and burgundy, which are decidedly excessive and not very compatible with light makeup. Then go for classic red, coral or orange shades or nuances of fuchsia and cherry. Pick up some color from the tip of the lipstick and pat it on your lips to brighten them up naturally.
5. And then, a touch of blush!
