We are used to seeing them in the guise of invincible and supernatural beings, including tight suits, cloaks and masks that hide their identity, increasing their aura of mystery. But have you ever imagined the most beloved superheroes of all time in the sixteenth century? How would Batman, Iron Man, Darth Vader or Wonder Woman be if they had lived in the "era of Shakespeare?" The French artist Sacha Goldberger has hypothesized the protagonists of the most famous comics and sagas among Elizabethan dresses and collars, far from space galaxies and skyscrapers of Gotham City.

So here is Catwoman, Princess Leia and Snow White with the challenging dresses of the sixteenth century, including bloated full skirts and rigid bodices that show off the décolleté, or Batman and Robin and the characters of Star Wars with Elizabethan collars and knee-length shorts that they give them a decidedly more human nature.
