Sanremo 2020: the youngest are triumphing online

Now the singers no longer challenge each other only with notes on the stage because the competition continues on the web. Through a detailed analysis of the most searched words on the internet, SEMrush, a marketing platform, reveals that the most popular singers of the 70th edition of the Festival are all very young. In fact, if we take into consideration the research conducted from January to December 2019, the month in which some names of the big names in the race were revealed, the result is a podium occupied in first position by Elettra Lamborghini with an average of 436,500 monthly searches, followed by Achille Lauro, whose name has been typed 285,417 times and, on the third step, Elodie at an altitude of 254,625.

What is striking is the fact that all three artists are under 30. Elettra, the youngest, is only 25 years old, Achille Lauro and Elodie, on the other hand, are 29. The result of this analysis is the clear symptom that, regardless of personal opinions, music is constantly evolving and that, with an ever increasing frequency, the new generations see each other much more in the sounds and in the words of those who are their age or, at least, closer to their age.

Elodie is one of the favorites of this edition and, in fact, she earns the 5th place in the partial ranking. She takes the stage with a Versace who reveals her sinuous shapes and enchants with her voice on the notes of “Andromeda”, the song written for her by Mahmood and Dardust.

Achille Lauro was the real protagonist of the first evening of the Festival, even if, for now, he occupies the 17th position. As we have already been able to ascertain last year, the artist sings and does not care about the opinions of others.

Very agitated, however, Elettra Lamborghini. The twerking queen, for the first time in Sanremo, was a bit lackluster compared to her standards. Emotion betrayed her during the performance and her voice, too weak, did not give the right emphasis to her single "Music and the rest disappears". Perhaps, it will be for this reason that the singer has only won the 21st place, but we are confident in a recovery.
