Royal baby: his name is George!
Two days after the birth of the "heir to the throne of England", William and Kate have officially announced the name of their eldest son. The royal baby is called George Alexander Louis.
It is a choice in the name of tradition, a tribute to some of the most famous monarchs of the United Kingdom.
The baby's official title will be His Royal Highness, Prince George of Cambridge.
The official announcement came last night after the visit of Queen Elizabeth, who will surely have appreciated the choice of the name George: King George VI was in fact her father.
