The dictionary of gastronomic language
This is a research project promoted by the Accademia della Crusca, which revealed the lack of a linguistic repertoire of the main texts of the Italian gastronomic tradition, both for research into the history of culture and food and specifically for studies of the history of Italian language.
He thus requested the collaboration not only of some universities, but also of the Barilla Academy of Parma, a well-known institution that promotes the Italian gastronomic tradition in the world.
An ad hoc portal is also in the works, which will be accessible both through the "Accademia Barilla" website.
One of the objectives, in fact, is to continue spreading our tradition beyond national borders, considering the fact that cooking has always played a fundamental role in promoting the “made in Italy” language and culture.
