Another good choice for decorating the home garden is the platycodon grandiflorus. It is a "herbaceous perennial that comes from" Asia (China, Korea and Japan) and is recognized for its familiarity with the bluebell.
It looks a lot like bluebells, so much so that until two centuries ago it was recognized as such.
It is not a large plant so it lends itself well to decorate small flower beds or empty spaces on the ground. The stems are thin and are maximum 50cm high. Its flowers bloom in summer and are characterized by a splendid blue, white or pink color; the shape is particular because it resembles that of a star.
