When I learned that I was chosen as a Philips Lumea Comfort tester I was incredulous, I only believed it when it came to me. Having read the instructions well, I immediately set to work trying it on the groin, armpits and legs. There is no pain, just select the right intensity, at most you feel a slight heat. Although it was the first time I had an IPL treatment, I had no skin reactions, no redness. Until now I have noticed a thinning of the hair and a slower growth. I hope that by continuing the regrowth times will get longer and longer. In some areas, if it doesn't position itself well, I have had some difficulty in triggering the flash, otherwise it is easy to use.

I was really happy I tried Philips Lumea Comfort, and more surprised by its results. I state that I am a Mediterranean girl (olive complexion and dark hair) and with unwanted hair I have always fought a battle. I begin by saying that the "Lumea Comfort epilator has a great ease of use: it is small, light and easy to handle, as well as beautiful to the eye, which is not bad, in fact it looks like a very elegant device, it can be transported and used practically. wherever you want. Just a simple socket, no need for soaps, water, or any type of creams, spare batteries and the like. It does not dirty and does not get dirty, because the area to be treated must always be clean and shaved, in fact this is the only precaution that is required, in addition to following the instructions in the enclosed manual to the letter. No rinsing or anything else needed. It only takes a few minutes to treat the affected area. Also, unlike all other hair-pulling systems, it is practically painless: there is only a kind of "heat" when the flash is thrown, but a very innocent thing. I also particularly liked the fact that there is no need for spare parts or maintenance, which avoids having to incur additional costs.
Coming to effectiveness, I noticed results already after 2 hair removal sessions, two weeks apart. The hairs have not completely disappeared, I know that it will take a lot more time and sessions to see the real ones. results, but the regrowth is evidently slowed down and thinned out: as regards the areas I treated, in the mustache area the hairs have almost not regrown, on the legs, in the bikini area and under the armpits they are much thinner but what surprises us more is that the hair has visibly thinned, in fact tearing one with tweezers I noticed how it was much thinner. I highly recommend it, especially to the more skeptical ones like me. I changed my mind and fell madly in love, even more knowing that results will always improve.

I am truly amazed at the result obtained with lumea. The treatment is really simple and fast, especially in areas with a small area such as underarms and bikinis. The important thing is to do close-up flashes. There is a feeling of warmth but not particularly annoying. In the bikini area the hair has almost completely disappeared and I have not finished all the treatment yet. Some hair still grows in the armpit area and on the arms. After years of unsuccessful treatments it is the only appliance that really works. 100% recommended to eliminate the problem of unwanted hair.

Philips Lumea for me has really exceeded all expectations! I was able to benefit from intense pulsed light treatments, like those I would have received in a beauty center, but in the comfort of my home and when it was most convenient for me to perform them. I concentrated on the bikini area, thanks to the dedicated accessory supplied, which was the one that pressed me the most. At the same time I treated the face (also in this case there is an additional accessory that gives extra safety) and the armpits. I set the light intensity according to the type of my skin and I treated the different areas every two weeks. I am going to carry out the third treatment! it is an "attenuation of their regrowth. I found the device light, intuitive and easy to use, as well as equipped and cared for in every detail." The pouch to store it as well as the cloth to clean the filter after each use is very welcome. After reading the instruction booklet very carefully, I dedicated myself to using the fantastic Philips Lumea SC2009 and I must admit that the results were absolutely above my expectations. I started the treatment starting from the legs a little because it is the easiest area to treat a little because in case of "mess" (I had to find the perfect intensity) it would have been relatively hidden: perfect result! After four weeks of application only very few and sparse hairs are seen. I then moved on to the groin and armpits (using the special windows provided) which seemed to me to be a bit more difficult areas and actually it will take a little longer but the results are already there and are visible. For about a week I decided to try it on my face as well (it was the area I feared most) and I must say that even in this case I was extremely satisfied enough to skip the weekly appointment with the beautician. In conclusion I can say that Philips Lumea SC 2009 has largely met my expectations and a colleague of mine was so satisfied that she bought it for her daughter for her birthday!
