The gusts of wind with lots of sand, the snow storms and the blinding reflection of sunlight on the white of the snow-covered landscapes have meant that evolution led, in fact, to the formation of almond-shaped eyes.
In this regard, it is good to specify that the eyes are not the only part of the body to be influenced by climatic factors. Just think, for example, of the color of the skin or the texture of the hair. The populations of Africa, for example, they have a skin richer in melanin just to protect themselves from the sun's rays which on that continent are more powerful than elsewhere. Similarly, it was observed how the thickness of the hair changes depending on the temperature of the place where you live.
