He falls in love with the neighbor: the story of a love born in quarantine
If you thought that forced quarantine was the most unlikely time to find love, well, here, you were very wrong. When love arrives, it arrives and certainly does not warn. There is no perfect time, it just happens. Jeremy Cohen, a photographer from New York, who has lost his mind to his neighbor knows it well.
In a city blocked by lockdown, Jeremy, like all of us, usually goes out to take a breath of fresh air on the balcony and it is in one of these moments of "escape" that his eyes are captivated by an angelic vision. This is the girl from the building opposite, intent on dancing on the roof of the building to the tune of "We are all in this together", the famous High School Musical soundtrack that is well suited to the current situation ("We are all together in this ").
A drone, messages on Whatsapp and a candlelit dinner (from a distance)
The girl, unaware until then, becomes aware of the presence of a mysterious spectator, so a tender exchange of looks and greetings begins between the two. Jeremy certainly cannot wait for the emergency to pass to know what, in his head, could even become the mother of his children and then, to extreme evils, extreme remedies. But how to do it? The ingenious mind of the photographer arrives at the solution: the boy glides his drone on the terrace of the neighbor and, attached to the aircraft, a small piece of paper with the phone number written on it. From that moment, the two begin to talk on Whatsapp and it is there that Jeremy finds the courage to invite the beautiful dancer to dinner. Wait for the end of the restrictive measures? Not at all! The couple dine at a distance, each on their own balcony, each with their own glass of wine in hand. And to make them feel close, a video call that, at that moment, seems to reset time and distance.
Now we just have to wait to learn about the evolution of a story that goes beyond the imagination of any romantic comedy director. In short, if they are roses, they will bloom.
P.S. Girls, when someone does not make himself heard or does not invite you to go out, clinging to useless excuses like "this is not the right time", "we are too far away" et cetera, think back to this story. Whoever wants, knows how to be there.
