MSGM and surreal fashion
Pop surrealism: this is how we can define the Toilet Paper project, an art magazine made by artists and founded by Maurizio Cattelan, who declared he wanted to retire, and Pierpaolo Ferrari. Today, the bright colors, the curious images and the " unleashed irony of that project are transferred to the garments of MSGM, the brand of the young Massimo Giorgetti, who has just created his first fashion show at Milan Fashion Week.
The collection is a capsule where Toilet Paper's imagery joins MSGM's passion for prints: here are flashy lipsticks, frog sandwiches, and other provocative images that have also ended up on Seletti's crockery and table accessories, in exclusive sale in the Moma gift shop in New York.
Instead, for the MSGM capsule collection it will be easier to find the garments, on sale exclusively in some stores including Colette in Paris and LuisaViaRoma in Florence, which has kindly granted us the images you see here.
