Milan Food Week, from 19 to 27 May

200 interactive events, which aim to spread the gastronomy culture at 360 °. Nine days that see the participation of the public, restaurants, museums, public spaces and private locations.

The starting day is also symbolic: 19 May is in fact the Food Revolution Day, a day promoted by the English chef Jamie Oliver, to create a "worldwide opportunity to celebrate food culture.
The Milan Food Week, sponsored by the Lombardy Region and the Municipality of Milan, aims to be an "opportunity for exchange and sharing between professionals in the sector and foodies and will involve two main locations: the Main Kitchen and the Public Kitchen. The latter" a temporary kitchen available to the public, where anyone can book their space to perform at the stove.

In the Main Kitchen, on the other hand, eight chefs will perform in show cooking to spread the cultural message of a great kitchen open to all: Fabio Baldassare, Massimo Bottura, Haruo Ichikawa, Ernst Knam, Pietro Leeman, Gualtiero Marchesi and Daniel Canzian, Aimo Moroni with Alessandro Negrini and Fabio Pisanie Claudio Sadler.

During the week, eight starred Milanese restaurants will offer special menus for the Milan Food Week: Al Pont De Ferr, D "O, Devero Ristorante, Il posto di Aimo and Nadia, Innocenti Evasioni, Joia, Tano pass me l" Olioe Unico.

A real opportunity to come into close contact with the excellence of food and wine culture thanks to events scattered throughout the city, including Taste of Milan, which will animate the Ippodromo del Galoppo from 17 to 20 May.
