Mothers in Cars: all about convertibles, summer cars par excellence!
We have chosen three models, all with four seats, to still have enough space even while you mess your hair ... for us and our children!
Fiat 500 C: a great classic that speaks Italian
Let's start with a great classic, Fiat 500 C, where C stands for convertible, a canvas top that can be opened and closed with a button in ten seconds and to be chosen in the color we like best. Cabin almost identical to that of the closed sister, well finished and approved for four. Pleasant driving, the car is short and therefore very manageable, the steering is precise and the roll is limited. The price is around 20,000 euros.
MINI Convertible: British charm for mothers who are attentive to details
Equally pleasant to drive, with slightly larger dimensions and a price of around 5,000 euros more, the Mini Convertible, also equipped with a canvas roof that ends its movement in eighteen seconds and up to a speed of thirty per hour. It has a nice sleek look, among other things the roll bars, the protections behind the headrests, come out only in the event of an imminent rollover. Here too, the cockpit is well finished, the spacious seats are the ones in front, but behind two children are more than comfortable. Engines: ranging from the quiet 102hp version to the very bad 231hp John Cooper Works.
Volkswagen T-Roc Cabriolet: the rational German choice
The third car of our special is the convertible variant of one of the most successful crossovers of recent months, it is the Volkswagen T-Roc Cabriolet. Size and price go up, starting from 30,000 euros. It is available with two engines, both petrol, 115 and 150 hp. It is a classic 2 + 2 with a small trunk, yes, but expandable thanks to the fully reclining rear backrests. The hood is in three-layer fabric and works with an electro-hydraulic system up to thirty hours. It takes nine seconds to open or close it.
