Hang Mioku is one of these girls. A young and promising model, Hang is obsessed with the idea that her skin is not smooth enough. So, at the age of 28, she undergoes her first cosmetic surgery. Not content, she moves to Japan shortly afterwards to continue the treatments.

Worried about a possible psycho-physical breakdown, her plastic surgeon prevents her from returning to the hospital and advises her to see a psychologist. Hang, however, is unable to stop and makes a drastic decision: to continue the treatments alone.
