Four stars for Prada
Do you remember the Prada men's fall winter 2012 2013 show? (You can watch it at this link). On that occasion, many Hollywood actors had accepted the invitation to parade for Miuccia Prada, and had filled the pages of the newspapers with their presence: Adrien Brody, Tim Roth, Willem Dafoe, Gary Oldman and many others. Today, four of these Hollywood stars appear in the Prada men's fall winter 2012/2013 press campaign, where they reproduce that game already played during the fashion show: a staging of stiff and very formal men, so set up as to suggest a parody.
This "parody of the" man of power ", as the creator Miuccia Prada herself defined it, is staged by the photos of David Sims for the campaign, with the presence of Willem Dafoe, Gary Oldman, Garrett Hedlund and Jamie Bell ( the latter two in the catwalk photos opposite). Four Hollywood stars of different titles and of different weights, who are in different career phases and ages, all together playing men stiff in front of a backdrop that recalls the theater, or the luxury show.
