The Social Vip Observatory, which has been studying Italian VIPs on social media since 2011, analyzing data such as communication phenomena and customs, has compiled a list with the top 10 of the most followed national team players on the three main social networks: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram The undisputed leader is Mario Balotelli from Brescia, with an incredible total of 9,850,000 followers.

On Facebook, if in first place we find Balotelli with more than 7 million Likes, in second place is the Captain and super goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon with about 2 million 700 thousand, and in third place (but not with so much detachment), we see the midfielder Andrea Pirlo, with about 2 million 200 thousand likes.

Twitter, on the other hand, sees Buffon win the bronze (about 690 thousand followers), the silver defender Giorgio Chiellini (about 1 million 100 thousand followers) and of course, the gold for Balotelli, with his over 2 million followers.

And Instagram? The social media where photo sharing is on the agenda? First place always in Balotelli with more or less 520 thousand likes, second place to midfielder Claudio Marchisio with 210 thousand likes, and third place, with 123 thousand likes, defender Leonardo Bonucci.

And the last place? On Twitter and Facebook we find the striker Alessio Cerci, while on Instagram the striker Lorenzo Insigne.
