San Daniele ham in celebration
From 22 to 25 June Aria di Festa celebrates this Friulian ham known all over the world: for four days San Daniele del Friuli is transformed into a stage that offers visitors music, entertainment and of course continuous ham tastings. During the guided tastings, San Daniele ham is paired with Friulano and the other wines of the Region, in an event that is part of Friulano & Friends, an event that plans to introduce local wines and their best combinations.
Returning to ham, eight ham factories will be open for guided tours (at some of these it will be possible to taste the ham as it happens in the streets of the town), and courses dedicated to all the secrets of San Daniele will also be organized (how to serve it, with what combine it, even how to cut it): on the website www.prosciuttosandaniele.it you can find all the information on events, tastings and shows.
