In addition to promoting cardiovascular diseases and cancers, tobacco poses many risks to women: associated with the pill, it promotes the formation of clots, weakens the walls of blood vessels and constricts them, increasing the risks of phlebitis and thrombosis; accelerates descaling; multiplies the risks of extra uterine pregnancy, spontaneous abortions, premature and caesarean deliveries, and delays in the growth of the fetus.
