The Legacy of Women Festival: the first names and the collaboration with Alfemminile announced

The new generation of European and world women confronted with the historical icons of feminism. These are the protagonists and the themes at the center of the fourth edition of L’Eredità delle Donne, dedicated to "Next Generation Women”, Which will be held from 22 to 24 October in Florence at Manifattura Tabacchi and online. The exhibition is a project by Elastica together with the CR Firenze Foundation, with the artistic direction of Serena Dandini, the partnership of Gucci and makes use of the co-promotion of the Municipality of Florence, the contribution of Poste Italiane and the collaboration of Manifattura Tabacchi.

Among the first confirmations, Virginia Stagni, the youngest manager in the history of the Financial Times; Arianna Muti, a student at the University of Bologna who invented an algorithm to recognize misogynistic tweets; Pecuniami, influencer expert in savings and finance; the journalists, writers and activists on the issues of the environment, gender violence and racial discrimination Stella Levantesi, Jennifer Guerra, Carlotta Vagnoli and Bellamy.

To support the festival will also be present alfemminile, the portal of the GEDI Group born in 2000 as a forum and today it has become a reference point for women of all ages.

Starting from July 22nd, on the Instagram page @alfemminile_com, content will be published in support of the "FORGET IT!" with the hashtags #forget it and #speaklouder. The campaign takes its cue from the meeting between generations and aims to speak to the women of tomorrow, photographing their approach to gender equality issues. The invitation for young and very young girls is that of post pictures on your Instagram profile, stories or videos that tell their experiences related to gender equality, accompanied by the hashtag #forget it # edd2021 #speaklouder. The goal is to create an online dialogue, which will then be developed live during the festival, with a series of talks and dedicated moments.

Along with social coverage, alfemminile will host a page on its website dedicated to the event and its issues including: Entrepreneurship, Women Empowerment, Inclusivity, Diversity, Personal Wellbeing, Parenting & Maternity.
