Four new divas for Miu Miu

Miu Miu presents its press campaign for the spring 2014 collection, and as often happens, it chooses actresses. This time, for the campaign signed by the celebrated Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, she chooses four actresses: the best known is the very young Elle Fanning, and next to her we find three other women to keep an eye on, on and off the screens.

The first is Elizabeth Olsen, sister of the more famous twins Ashley and Mary-Kate and with a promising acting career ahead of her: she has already appeared in Young rebels - Kill your darlings alongside Daniel Radcliffe, and in Oldboy, Spike Lee's remake of Park Chan-Wook's Korean cult film. Next to them is Bella Heathcote, an Australian known for Dark Shadows by Tim Burton e Cogan - Killing them softly, with Brad Pitt. Both Elizabeth and Bella bring that subtle, evanescent elegance that the world of Miu Miu really likes.

Lupita Nyong'o, on the other hand, is the unmissable revelation of 12 Years a slave, the multiple-nominated film for the Golden Globes, which will soon also be released in Italy. The beautiful Nyong'o plays a slave there, giving a thrilling interpretation, which earned her the nomination for the Golden Globes as best supporting actress (and we will see if she will also earn one for the Oscars). It was impossible that Miuccia Prada, always attentive to news and high quality in the world of cinema, would miss the real revelation of the year.
