June, as you know, is the month of summer and this means longer days, sun, cool drinks, light clothes, but also the sea and ... swimwear! If you are not among those who have prepared in time, with a gym and healthy nutrition throughout the winter, this moment can turn out to be a real nightmare and generate performance anxiety. But as they say: it's never too late!

To remedy long months of laziness and sins of gluttony, we turned to personal trainer Valentina Ratti, protagonist of the column dedicated to remise en forme #PossoAllenarmi on the site I can Farcela !. With her video tutorials, Valentina has helped the women of the Can Farcela community for 8 weeks! to get back in shape, proposing targeted exercises that can be replicated at home. All it takes is a mat and a pinch of goodwill to be able to shout to the world: "Try costume, I can do it!". Let's see together how to work on muscle toning, the slimming of the abdomen and hips, the slimming of the legs and buttocks and the acceleration of the metabolism.

1. Metabolic toning circuit

Getting back into shape begins with toning the muscles and accelerating metabolism. Equip yourself with 2 dumbbells of 1kg each (alternatively you can use two bottles of water) and remember to always start from the warm-up, at least a couple of minutes of jogging on the spot, to avoid muscle problems. 2. Localized exercises for the abdomen and hips

If you have a few centimeters to lose on your waist, you can intervene with a workout consisting of 2 cycles of 3 exercises each. Position yourself on your back on the mat and start with the Crunch with the legs at the table (10 repetitions), then on your side to work on the oblique abdominals. Finish the cycle with a quick exercise: Jumping Jacks!

3. Localized exercises for legs and buttocks

Does your silhouette have a pear shape? Here are the exercises proposed by Valentina to slim and firm legs and buttocks. We start standing with the squat (push-ups on the legs with the back very straight) and then continue with the obliques on one side and the other. Repeat everything, then return to an upright position for the Squat and then again on the mat for the oils, finally conclude the workout with an aerobic exercise: the Jumping Jacks.

4. Exercises to speed up the metabolism

Forget fasting or drastic food sacrifices: the best way to speed up the metabolism and burn fat is to always give new stimuli to our body. In this video Valentina shows us the ladder method. It is a series of three exercises to be repeated in an increasing number of repetitions (10-12-14 repetitions, or if you are not trained you can start with 4 repetitions to gradually increase them to 6 and 8).
